Born in the UK, my family migrated to Australia when I was eight years old, in 1975. Waking up in hospital after a near fatal accident in 1983 changed by life and my attitude towards it.
Aged 17, I drove around Australia in a 1956 Volkswagen with a mate and later travelled the world on a shoestring budget - always looking for answers only ever finding questions.
A survivor in life with many stories to tell and, of course, to write, I find joy in watching my words change the faces of those who read them.
